A bit of stuff about us…
We are Dave and Russ.. and we welcome you all to Voodoo Rain.
Voodoo rain was created by us sometime between 1990 and now..it's all a bit of a blur to be honest.
The Brand started with an idea we called Manchester Reigns.
It was a celebration of the City we grew up in and a play on words that embraced the relentless grim Manchester weather and our belief that this City and its music ruled the World.
We met on a night out at Hippos in Middleton in the mid 90’s and embarked on a journey of pills, thrills n bellyaches for the next 20 years. We both married, we both divorced, we both had kids and we both got fatter but we both kept making each other laugh and we both stood by each other through the good times and the bad.
We lost a great friend called Tim in 2020 and this event catapulted us both on a journey of creativity, reflection, therapy and at times, utter chaos.
But out of the pain we have both discovered hope, strength and optimism and our way of showing The World how we feel is now called…Voodoo Rain.
So step in, have a mooch about, tell us what you like and if you have to, what you don’t. just don’t be a hater, just be cool. Please!
And if you fancy buying some clobber then that would be marvellous.
